Hi! I'm Sephia, a German ocean based photographer and filmmaker living in Cornwall.
I specialise in surf and lifestyle photography, focusing on the connection between people and the sea. I like capturing the emotions in my work, whether it’s the energy of surfing or a quiet moment by the water. To express this, I like to use different mediums, such as analog photography, in water shots with a surf housing, and long lens techniques.
As a scuba diver and underwater photographer, I'm also passionate about ocean conservation. My work highlights the beauty, fragility and strength of the sea while raising awareness of its importance.
Currently studying Marine and Natural History Photography at Falmouth University, my goal is to tell stories that show the relationship between humans and water, above and below the surface.
